RSS Feeds

Here are my shared RSS feeds on Google.

Some of my work-related RSS Feeds in Google Reader are: SLJ Latest News (recent news on Stephenie Meyer’s books, J. K. Rowling’s Wizard Fairy Tales coming in December, and the sad news of the missing girl in VT), SLJ Latest Tech News (interesting article that reported on a study that Youth Social Networking doesn’t trump social status in real world), Reading Rants (my fav YA book blog that has a recent review on a new book coming out by Justine Larbalestier – can’t wait!), YALSA, Alternative Teen Services, YA YA YAs, NYTimes book review, LJ Book Reviews, Readers Advisor Blog (more Stephenie Meyer news and some great suggestions of Olympian books), Paper Cuts, The Book Bench, The Shifted Librarian, Tame the Web, Librarian in Black, Information wants to be Free, Library Bytes, Library Garden, etc, etc.

My own feeds are categorized by folk music, craft, poetry/fiction and misc (idiosyncratic is more like it).

I haven’t found any of these using technorati or topix. I found them through listservs and other websites that I visit for work, etc.

I also use RSS feeds on the Virtual Loft (with the green widgets) to provide regular updates on movies, video game news, music news…

Some work-related blogs become too similar after a while, so I purge every now and again. That happened this week. Housecleaning time!
